Chickens

Chickens (chooks in Oz) have many uses to the backyard organic gardener. They'll recycle your food scraps and clear your backyard of slugs, snails and other unwanted guests. They can dig your veggie garden for you if allowed and fertilise it at the same time. They'll also give you eggs to eat and manure for compost making. Generous creatures!
