You are asked to make a gold coin donation at meditation events which goes towards VUPJ expenses (other than themeditation retreat, which has a $5 Library Fund donataion.)

 

St Kilda = Temple Beth Israel at 76 Alma Rd  St.Kilda in the Magid Resource Centre.                          

Kew = Leo Baeck Centre at 37 Harp Rd  Kew East (the room may vary). Thanks to the VUPJ for the use of their facilities.

The dates of Jewish Festivals are also shown below. They begin on the evening before the first day of the festival.         

                                                                                               

All events are participatory learning and teaching experiences. You are strongly encouraged to lead or assist with segments on topics or areas that interest you whether these are developed by you or are from the

Renewal Siddur or other sources. Contact the information emails above to arrange your participation on any of the dates.  The continuation of these activities depends on your participation.

Rabbi Cooper’s  program will include: Leading the regular Wednesday evening meditation at Temple Emanuel Woollahra (TEW) on Wednesday 28 February; a public lecture on Kabbalah and meditation on Thursday 1 March; A Saturday afternoon workshop on meditation at TEW on 2 March; and he and his wife Shoshana will lead a 7-day silent meditation retreat from March 4 to 11.  For information email Edna eross@ozemail.com.au  Cost between $800 and $850 for a twin-share room with bathroom and all meals for a week
