Reb Zalman Schachter Shalomi
and his wife Eve Ilsen will be coming to Oz in October 2006. Workshops will be held in Sydney &
Melbourne. Reb Zalman is the founder of Jewish Renewal. There is a biography of

Details of Reb Zalman’s Melbourne visit

Reb Zalman will lead a Renewal Shabbat
morning service on Sat 21st October at TBI (Temple Beth Israel, 76 Alma Rd St
Kilda, Melbourne) 9:30am till noon.
He will use the Gates of Prayer
Siddur with additional material that we will print and distribute for the
service. People should attend by 9:30 for a Shiur.

Reb Zalman
Workshop, Sunday 22nd Oct 10:30am to 1pm. At TBI.
This will be on the topic “Why
we need Renewal”. It will be based around his book “Jewish with Feeling”. We
will do presentations on the book at our Renewal meditations on Wed 6th Sep 7:30 TBI and Sun 17th Sept
7:30pm LBC. The cost of the workshop is $80. Email ftropp@vtown.com.au to book.

Reb Zalman
Lecture Tues 24th Oct at TBI. 8pm to
9:30pm
The topic will be “The need for
Elder Wisdom”. This will relate to his book on “From Ageing to Sageing”. The
cost of the lecture is $10. We will conduct a presentation on the book at our Renewal Meditation sessions on Sun
17th Sept 7:30pm at LBC and on Wed 4th Oct 7:30pm at TBI.

visit of Reb David A. Cooper to Melbourne in March 2007. There will be a
workshop at that time. Reb David was ordained by Reb Zalman.
