Lemon verbena is a smallish shrub with attractive and highly scented leaves. It prefers well drained soil in full sun and is semi deciduous or deciduous in frost prone areas, like most of Tasmania.
The leaves can be used to make tea with a lemon confectionary flavour.
Propagate lemon verbena with cuttings, which must be protected from frost.
