To grow good healthy mint, plant it in full sun or semi shade and keep the surrounding soil moist in summer. Mint also grows well in pots, as long as the pots are reasonably large.
Harvest mint at any time for use in many recipes, or to freshen your breath.
Mint is a hardy plant but usually dies back in winter, re-shooting again in spring.
Propagation is easy. Just separate some shoots from the base of the plant, making sure there is some root attached, and pot on.
